It’s not often I get out to shoot some of my own non-work footage. This footage was captured around the seaside town of Newcastle, Co. Down, located around a 45min drive from Belfast. From the mast in the video, there are views stretching along Murlough Beach and towards the Bay of Dundrum. On a clear day you can see all the way to the Isle of Man. The mast is located in Donard Forest, a popular destination for hikers and mountain bikers with a trail leading up to the tallest mountain in Northern Ireland – Slieve Donard.
