Popular CMS system WordPress has just been upgrade to version 3.0.  WordPress is a powerful and free CMS system which is highly customisable through custom theme files.  This very site is run on WordPress.

I am from a design background and have been creating custom themes for people for the last few years.  I find it fairly straight forward to pick up as a CMS system and work with.

New features of WordPress 3.0 include the ability to manage multiple sites from the same install, new APIs for custom theme development, a new backend UI colour scheme, and the inclusion of the new TwentyTen theme as standard.
